The Plaque of Honour and the Flag of Honour, two other
distinctions of the Council of Europe, have been awarded jointly to the
two towns of Cockermouth and Marvejols.
October 1989 : European Flag of Honour to Marvejols.
October 1992 : European Flag of Honour to Cockermouth .
